In an act of barbarism and mob terror, Islamists in the Daultabad area of Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar were found slaughtering cows on the occasion of Bakrid (16 June 2024). The local Hindus notified the police when they noticed this act, and immediately, police raided the area. However, as per reports, the enraged Islamists made life-threatening attacks on the volunteers of Hindu organizations. Furthermore, the Islamists rioted and destroyed some vehicles in the area.
Within a few hours, a crowd of Islamists gathered near the Daultabad police station and forced the police to take action against the Hindu organizations. Hindu organizations did not relent and gathered their volunteers near the location, leading to a tense situation. The police had to call for additional reinforcements to ease the tensions and disperse the crowds.
As per the report by Sudarshan News, police filed FIRs against 19 Islamists. However, the police have also registered cases against four Hindu volunteers based on the false allegations raised by the Islamist crowd. Police forces were deployed to prevent any untoward incident. The injured Hindu volunteers have been admitted to the government hospital of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and are getting the required medical treatment.
BJP provincial secretary Sanjay Kenekar arrived at the location and spoke about the incident. At the outset, he strongly condemned the brutal attack on Hindus, including women, by the Islamists. He lauded and appreciated the police for their quick response and gave them credit for bringing the situation under control and stopping the communal tensions from aggravating further. He assured that the state government and the culprits will be dealt with strictly to make this case a deterrent for any such attempt to perpetrate violence by the Islamist goons in the future.
Notably, none of the mainstream news media, be it in English or Hindi language, nor local Marathi news agencies have covered this brutal act of cow slaughter and mob violence by the Islamists. This systematic whitewashing and sidelining of the Islamist brutalities by the mainstream media has been an enabler for several such barbaric acts by the Islamists in Bharat.
