Dhar, MP: Minor Hindu girl threatened and molested by Mohammad Salman; arrested, locals demand bulldozer action

On Wednesday, June 26th, the Madhya Pradesh Police arrested Islamist Mohammed Salman for molesting a Hindu minor girl in Dhar. Based on the reports from OpIndia, the incident reportedly took place as the girl was returning home from school, and Salman intercepted her along the way and subjected her to molestation.

The matter came to light after the girl reached home and disclosed the incident to her parents, prompting them to file a police complaint. The police authorities swiftly detained Islamist Salman and launched a thorough investigation into the case.

In response to public outcry, local authorities also announced the demolition of Islamist Salman’s unauthorized vegetable shop in the village where he operates. The accused is known to the community as a vendor in the area.

Hindu activists have expressed outrage over the incident and are demanding stringent action against the Islamist perpetrator. The victim, a student in the 8th grade at a local school, has received widespread support from the community in seeking justice.

According to the police report, the accused allegedly stopped the girl around noon on June 25th under the pretext of asking for directions. During this encounter, he reportedly took derogatory photographs of her and proceeded to molest her. The girl was also threatened with the circulation of these images unless she complied with his demands. Fortunately, she managed to escape and safely return home.

The accused faces charges under applicable sections of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Hindu community leaders urged the local administration to act, leading to the demolition of the accused’s unauthorized property.

Similar to this incident, recent cases highlight Islamist-perpetrated crimes, including brainwashing and elopement of Hindu girls, the abduction of a Janjathiya girl in Anuppur, MP, and the alleged murder plot in Balaghat, MP. Concerns arise over the targeting of the Hindu community and minor girls. The trend is increasing day by day, raising questions about safety and prompting concerns among the people who are questioning the authorities. In multiple cases, the Madhya Pradesh government has employed bulldozer action to demolish the properties of Islamist perpetrators. People are now demanding similar stringent action against these Islamist perpetrators.
