This shocking event occurred on May 30 at approximately 11:00 AM and has raised critical concerns about the safety of children in the community. Following the incident, a medical examination at the district civil hospital confirmed the assault. As per Jagran, the person accused of a crime is named Momin, and he lives in a village called Jalpaad. Savita Arya, who is the leader of an organization called Nari Tu Narayani Utthan Samiti, shared that her family is from a village in Hamirpur district, Uttar Pradesh, and currently lives in Panipat. The husband and wife both work at a factory, and they have a one-year-old son.
A month ago, her 13-year-old sister came from Hamirpur to help take care of her one-year-old nephew. One Friday morning, a beggar came to their home asking for money. He inquired about the girl’s sister and brother-in-law, and she told him they were out at work.
While the girl was trying to put her nephew to sleep, a beggar entered the room and offered to tell her fortune by reading her palm. He said, “Daughter, come here, I will tell you your future…” Instead, he manipulated her and attacked, raped her. When the baby started crying, the beggar ran away.
As per OpIndia, later that evening, the girl’s sister returned home and was told what had happened. She immediately called the police for help. Officers informed the local police chief, and they began searching for the attacker.
Detectives reviewed security camera footage from the area and questioned people in local areas. They managed to spot the suspect riding a motorcycle and confirmed his identity through the cameras. On Tuesday night, the police arrested a man named Momin from a nearby road. The victim was brought to the police station, and she confirmed that he was the person who had raped her.
Following the incident, the police promptly took action, analyzed the footage, and successfully identified the accused. He is now in jail, and the local authorities are ensuring that justice is served.
