Badaun, UP: Ajim Ali rapes minor Hindu girl, forces conversion and marriage; allegations of coerced beef consumption, Islamic prayer surface

A serious case of grooming jihad has emerged from Badaun district in Uttar Pradesh. Islamist Ajim Ali coerced a Hindu girl into accepting Islam and marrying her. He reportedly forced her to consume meat against her vegetarian beliefs, taught her religious texts, and took her to shrines forcefully. When she resisted, she was allegedly assaulted by the Islamist perpetrator. Based on the reports from OpIndia, the incident occurred in Kotwali Nagar. The victim filed a police complaint on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, stating that when she was 17 years old, Ajim, aged 24 and a resident of her neighborhood, trapped her. During this time, Ajim allegedly blackmailed her with explicit photos and videos and raped her multiple times.

About a year ago, Ajim allegedly threatened to kill her and share the video on social media. When the girl’s father filed a case with the police, Islamist Ajim and his father, Shakir Ali, coerced the victim into giving a statement in their favor. Shakir Ali is a pharmacist by profession and is named among the five accused in this case.

Based on the reports from Sudarshan News, after getting the statement in court, the accused took the victim along with them. A few days later, Ajim Ali, along with his father Shakir Ali, mother Reshma, brother Nadeem Ali, and sister Saima, allegedly began pressuring the victim to convert to Islam after abandoning Hindu Dharma. They forcibly made her consume meat and exerted pressure on her to eat it. The victim stated that she is strictly vegetarian.

In her complaint and media statement, the victim further stated that she was forced to wear Islamic attire and coerced into reading Islamic books. She was taken to shrines without her consent. When the girl protested against these actions, she was locked in a room and subjected to ruthless beatings. Not only this, but the victim was also kept hungry for long periods.

A few days later, the accused, Islamist Ajim, forcefully converted the victim to Islam and married her. The girl’s name was changed to Mayra after marriage. On June 24 (Monday), Ajim, along with his parents and siblings, allegedly started mercilessly beating the victim for refusing to adopt Islamic practices.

On the day of the incident, late at night, the victim somehow managed to escape from the clutches of the accused and reached the police station. Later, she narrated the entire incident to the police and demanded strict action against the accused. The police have registered a written FIR based on the victim’s complaint. Ajim, Shakir Ali, Saima, Nadeem, and Reshma Begum have been named in the FIR.

In addition to sections 323, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), action has been taken under Section 3/5(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Act, 2021. Badaun police have stated that the case is under investigation, and that necessary actions are being taken.

Uttar Pradesh has witnessed serious crimes in the past few weeks. In Pratapgarh, an Islamist brutally murdered his Hindu girlfriend, and in another case in Kanpur, Faiz Malik posed as Ankit Thakur to befriend and rape a Hindu minor orphan. Recently, Islamists attacked Hindu family and allegedly threatened to abduct Brahmin Daughters. This shows the Islamists manipulative tactics and targeted crimes against Hindus. Targeted crimes against Hindus, including physical assaults, blackmail, and forced conversions to Islam, continue to happen throughout Bharath. The radical Islamist ideology and predatory actions are causing suffering in Hindu population, yet authorities have not been able to stop these crimes.
