A Sikh man, Inder Singh, has been brutally attacked by a Muslim, Salim Siddique, and his accomplices in Mumbai as per Manjinder Sirsa, national spokesperson of the Akali Dal party. The attack apparently took place as Inder Singh asked the accused to wear face masks in public, as per government directives in light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic situation is especially dire in Mumbai which has close to 10,000 cases.
Sirsa, who is also President of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee, tweeted a video of the serious cut wounds suffered by the victim (Warning – distressing video):
