“In a major development, the Moradabad police in Uttar Pradesh arrested Amedkarite activist ‘Didi’ Nirdesh Singh for abusing Hindu deities, saints and the Maha Kumbh Mela.
According to reports, she was apprehended from Noida on Thursday (30th January). A First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against Singh at the Majhola police station based on a complaint by Pramod Saini.
The controversial Ambedkarite activist was booked under Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) Sections 196(1), 299, 302, 353(1)(c), 353(2) and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act…….”
