“Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev of the Isha Foundation has stated that the Places of Worship Act is a crime against democracy and it needs to be changed.
Speaking to Navika Kumar of Times Now, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, who is currently in Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh, told that denying citizens the right to seek legal recourse for their problems is against the fundamental principles of democracy.
“When you tell a citizen of the nation that he or she cannot go to court and find legal recourse for some problem that they have, that is against the fundamental ethos of a democracy……”
