A sensational case of making fake birth certificates has come to light in UP’s (Uttar Pradesh) Raebareli district. But the surprising thing is that not 100 or 200 fake birth certificates but around 20 thousand fake birth certificates have been issued in Salon town of Raebareli. These birth certificates have been issued to the addresses of many villages where no such persons live. In such a situation, the agencies have become alert and have started an investigation. The local MLA has called it a conspiracy to change the demography.
Around 20 thousand fake birth certificates made in Salon in Raebareli are being linked to Bangladeshi and Rohingya intruders. Investigation has revealed that there was a conspiracy to get Indian citizenship for intruders. Several important pieces of information have been obtained from the investigation conducted by the police and ATS. In one day, 500 to 1000 fake certificates were made in four salon villages. In the case of the fake birth certificate, Salon has also been linked to Karnataka, Kerala, and Mumbai.
In Gram Panchayats, Panchayat secretaries typically need at least 15 minutes to create a birth certificate using their ID and password. Server issues can sometimes arise, further slowing down the process. As a result, only four to five certificates can be produced in an hour. Given this pace, generating five hundred to one thousand certificates in a single day with just one computer using one ID and password is impossible.
Achieving such high numbers would require multiple computers using the same ID and password. The production of such many certificates in one day could indicate a significant conspiracy. Based on evidence of fraud in Salon and the findings of the ongoing investigation, the involvement of infiltrators cannot be ruled out.
500 to 1000 fake birth certificates made in a day!
An attempt was also made to get citizenship for Bangladeshi and Rohingya intruders by breaching the security of the country. Many certificates were made in a day with the same ID and password. After the 19184 fake birth certificates were issued in five villages of Salon, investigations were also conducted in other villages. During this, evidence of the issuance of about 1000 certificates was found in Nooruddinpur village on 24 October 2023. In the Gadhi, Islamnagar, Laherupur, Sirsira, and Gopalpur villages, it was also found that more than the recommended number of certificates were made in a single day.
Four arrested for fake birth certificate issuance
Four people, including the Gram Vikas Adhikari, Vijay Yadav and the operator of one Sahaj Jan Suvidha Kendra, Zeeshan (son of Mohammad Riyaz), have been arrested in this case. It is said that the fake birth certificates were made in this Jan Suvidha Kendra.
According to the report by Zee News, local people claim that Zeeshan Khan and the Gram Vikas Adhikari, Vijay Yadav have made fake birth certificates for not 19000 but 35000-40000 people, and none of them is a resident of Raebareli. This raises questions about whom these fake birth certificates were made. Suspicions arise about benefitting Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators in Bharat.
When the matter came to light, on the complaint of ADO Panchayat Jitendra Singh, an FIR was lodged against four, including the Gram Vikas Adhikari Vijay Yadav, Zeeshan, Mohammad Riyaz and one of their associate, and they were arrested and sent to jail. Arpit Upadhyay, CDO Raebareli, confirmed this.
Most fake certificate issued to minorities raises suspicions of terrorist conspiracy
At present, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has also been engaged in the investigation of this case. Senior officers from Lucknow have also reached Salon. The online birth certificates issued by all the Gram Panchayats in the district are being verified. After matching all the data, ATS will expand the scope of the investigation.
At the same time, it is also suspected that this case of fake birth certificates is a conspiracy to grant citizenship to illegal intruders who have come through other states or to settle people of any terrorist organization in UP. According to police and administrative sources, most fake certificates of minorities
have been made by Salon. These include the names of four Bangladeshis caught in Mumbai in 2023. Earlier, some Rohingyas caught in Jammu were also found to have birth certificates made here.
BJP MLA demands investigation
According to Rae Bareli BJP MLA Ashok Kori, the birth certificate of a member of Kerala’s PFI organization was also issued from Palhi village of Salon tehsil. He demanded that a thorough investigation be conducted on this. “Apart from Raebareli, in which other cities and states is this happening? This should also be investigated”, he added.
