Does Kerala need NSG units

The central government’s decision to form the National Security Guards (NSG) unit in Kerala, which is facing the threat of terrorism, is inevitable. Kerala is becoming a logistical hub for pan-Islamic terrorist groups and a refuge for forces loyal to radical Islam.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has decided to establish NSG units in Ayodhya, which is under the radar of several terrorist outfits after the Pran Pratishta in the newly constructed Ram Mandir. Another unit will come up in Pathankot, where Khalistan separatist terrorists are trying to gain power with the help of some foreign forces (Canada and the deep state) using the unique political climate of Punjab.

NSG units with unique weapons and anti-drone systems will be deployed in Ayodhya within two months and in Kerala and Pathankot by the end of this year. These units aim to assist the local police/ other armed forces units and speed up emergency response. It is known that the crucial decision regarding this was taken after great deliberations and several meetings.

Islamist fundamentalists are allegedly operating in Kerala, which shares Bharat’s maritime boundaries, according to the MHA and several intelligence services—Pathankot, which shares a border with Pakistan. Currently, Kerala and Pathankot have become havens for pan-Islamic organizations and Khalistan militants, respectively and has prompted the authorities to prepare for any emergency.

All three locations were pinpointed based on threat perception and their geographical proximity to nearby sensitive locations. With the formation of units, including in Kerala, NSG will have eight hubs nationwide. The current five are stationed in Gandhinagar, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai.

The NSG unit is being formed in Kerala against the backdrop of some terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir after a short lull. After Kashmir, Kerala is the state where Islamic fundamentalists, extremists and terrorists operate strongly. They are working to make Kerala the new terror-ridden Kashmir.

Terrorists in Kashmir get the support of the Congress, Communist Party of India Marxist (CPM), Farooq Abdullah’s National Conference and Mehbooba Mufti-led Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In Kerala, the Islamic fundamentalists get the support of the CPM, Congress, Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and the fronts they lead.

Kerala has the highest number of recruits from Bharat for the global terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS). Several reports have surfaced that some of those Keralites (mainly women/ISIS brides) are in prisons in Afghanistan and Syria. Many male terrorists have either blown themselves up or been killed in clashes with security forces.

Islamists from Kerala who went to join the Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed in encounters by our military troops on the Kashmir border.

Ignoring this, the Congress-Communist fronts and some mainstream media are spreading the lie/fake illusion that Keralite Islamists have nothing to do with terrorism. They were also the ones who rallied for the rescue of Abdul Nasser Madani, the accused in several bomb blast cases by terrorist organizations.

Some will raise the question of why NSG units are coming to Kerala. As per them, Kerala is a cradle of secularism. There may be an outcry that discrimination in the name of religion will not be allowed. Will it be an admission that terrorists belong to a particular religion?

CPM and Congress were the ones who did not accept when the central government banned the Popular Front of India (PFI), an Islamic terrorist organization. PFI leaders were jailed after our intelligence agencies received evidence of anti-national activities.

When the PFI terrorists staged a lightning hartal in Kerala and resorted to violence in protest against the ban, the Left Front government consented without taking solid measures. The opposition Congress stood with the green communists and the terrorists.

Allegedly, in the interest of Kerala’s Home Department (handled by CM Pinarayi Vijayan himself), the police colluded with the PFI leaders even though there was a court order to recover damages for destroying public property. Vijayan’s son-in-law, Tourism Minister Mohammed Riyas, allegedly controls the department.

Although the PFI has been banned and its leaders jailed, the cadres of this terrorist organization continue to carry out subversive activities under the guise of a political party called the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI). Left and right fronts pretend not to see their atrocities.

In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the SDPI supported Congress, while in the last Assembly elections, their support was to the CPM. In such a sheltered and comfortable political situation, fundamentalists and extremists are not idle. A security system like NSG is needed to deal with them.
