A video showing Muslim man Ataur Rahman molesting a woman on a deserted street while she was out to buy milk in Uttar Pradesh’s (UP) Amroha has gone viral on social media. The accused followed the woman for several days.
The footage shows the accused walking behind the woman. Later, it was revealed that he covered her mouth and attempted to molest her. The woman screamed for help, attracting a crowd, which caused Rahman to run away.
The woman reported the incident to the police, who quickly registered her complaint and began searching for the accused. In a subsequent video that surfaced on social media, UP police are holding Rahman in custody. He was arrested for his indecent behaviour towards the woman. Further investigations into the matter are underway. Incidents of Muslim atrocities including molestation, sexual assaults, and rape are on the rise.
