Biden administration plays good cop, doesn’t act on USCIRF recommendation to blacklist Bharat

The Biden administration has reportedly rejected the USCIRF recommendation to blacklist Bharat to the chagrin of some. However, we need to exercise caution and restraint while ‘celebrating’ the move in view of the Islamo-Christian domination of the Biden administration.

What is USCIRF?

The USCIRF (United States Commission on International Religious Freedom) is a quasi-Christian evangelical body although it attempts to present itself as a neutral body. The anti-Bharat and anti-Hindu stance of USCIRF is hard to miss.

Some of the members of the commission are:-

Nadine Maenza: She is a known associate of Rick Santorum, a Roman Catholic Christian Fundamentalist who opposes abortion, contraceptives, right to privacy, LGBT rights and denies evolution and Climate Change.

Anurima Bhargava: A second-generation Indian American, she is a lawyer. She has previously testified against India at various forums. She is an associate of Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic Party leader.

James W. Carr: An educator, he has been associated with World Christian Broadcasting for decades. This radio station broadcasts Christian songs and teachings over shortwaves all over the world.

Rev. Frederick Davie: A Christian priest, Davie Davie has served the national Presbyterian Church, the NYC presbytery, and local congregations for many years and since 2011 been the Executive Vice President of the Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York since August 15, 2011.

Nury Turkel, Sharon Kleinbaum, Khizr Khan, and Tony Perkins are the other members of the body.

“The USCIRF has a history of fanning baseless rumours and leftist propaganda against India. They had also ranted against India’s Citizenship Amendment Act, calling it a ‘dangerous turn in the wrong direction’. Recently, it had also attempted to spread false propaganda against the Modi government by claiming that minorities are under threat in the country”, reported OpIndia.

USCIRF recommendation rejected

The statement released by Secretary Antony J Blinken on religious freedom designations has named Pakistan, China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia among others as countries of particular concern.

The Biden administration rejecting the recommendation of the USCIRF is a welcome step but as equal partners this is was to be expected of it. The American establishment has been playing the good cop, bad cop game. Only earlier this year, the Biden administration had renewed the tariff war against Bharat. Furthermore, it has also come to light that the aunt of the current transportation secretary in the Biden administration Pete Buttigieg, is involved in evangelical activities in Bharat raising several questions about the encouragement to evangelism outside America by the Biden administration.

USCIRF is the result of the US foreign policy agenda that is used as a tool to change the religious character of the population of a country. Therefore, even if both the Trump and Biden administration have rejected the body’s recommendation to blacklist Bharat, neither administration has done a favor on Bharat.

The real test of the Biden administration, that is known for its overt Christian credentials, lies in its reining in of Christian evangelism that is threatening Bharat’s indigenous culture and religion.
