To reiterate what has been said in sections of the mainstream conservative media, Donald Trump “lost” the 2020 Presidential race but Trumpism won hands down. Literally half the country voted for the Donald despite a vicious four-year campaign of abuse and calumny unleashed by the country’s dominant Left-Liberal media. More than 70 million voters in person, the largest ever turnout for a Republican nominee, sent out an emphatic message through the ballot box that a woke regime cannot be allowed to become a malleable tool in the hands of Leftists, Islamists, and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Posterity is certain to regard Joseph R Biden’s “election” as the forty-sixth President of the United States the most pyrrhic and disputed in American history. Why disputed, one may ask. Because 48 per cent of the 75 million votes cast in his favor were a combination of mail-in and absentee ballots whose authenticity is necessarily iffy given the chances of error if not outright fraud. A voter who dispatches his ballot through the post office cannot hold a candle before the franchise of another who comes out on polling day to vote for the candidate of his choice. It is the surest assertion of support. The mammoth number of postal ballots which poured in for Biden at the eleventh hour cannot but arouse disquiet and suspicion. It is almost certain to deepen the political divide, making the GOP more than ever determined to recapture the White House in 2024, with a Trump encore on the cards.
Critics brand Trump the most divisive president in 100 years, and yet no previous incumbent has had an approval rating of 93 per cent within his party. None of his disagreeableness, pomposity, flamboyance, or oafishness can compare with the notoriety of a Nixon or Lincoln’s unelected successor, Andrew Johnson. The daily outpouring of derision and contumely in the national media helped the volatile former hotelier and real estate mogul to cobble a grassroot political base of hitherto unseen proportions which cannot be easily eroded. More blacks (12 percent) and Hispanics (32 percent) voted Trump than they did four years ago despite the stigma of being a White supremacist. Charges of destroying the economy and mismanaging the corona pandemic came unstuck. Even the New York Times admitted that 49 percent of voters thought the economy good or excellent, and 48 percent approved of his government’s handling of the virus. Pollster predictions of a Biden landslide were turned on its head, and the entire national liberal media parroting the foregone outcome ended up sacrificing credibility at the altar of the most vicious bias. Trump’s alleged illicit links with Russia and Ukraine were advertised with unfailing regularity, and the dodgy family business dealings of his rival ignored. The initiative to impeach him fell through in the Senate.
Whether or not Trump makes a second bid for the Presidency, his legacy, good or bad, will endure. Unless the party bosses find someone of exception appeal, no candidate hoping to get the 2024 GOP nomination can afford to ignore the Donald for the next few years. He will be kingmaker. None of the three previous one-termers – Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, and George Bush Sr. – commanded his fanatical personal following. They all faded into the sunset.
Compare this to the situation in the rival camp. Desperation drove the Democrats to nominate a jejune 78-year-old Catholic in cognitive decline for a single term. The prospect of his Black American running mate, Kamala Harris, the first woman vice-president also succeeding to the Oval Office in the interregnum is a stark possibility. Such a turn of events could encourage Extreme Left groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter (BLM) to unleash their evil agenda. Anarchists, communists, and assorted anti-socials are behind both movements.
Saving black lives has been the least of BLM’s concerns going by the record of their activities. The group was started between 2014-16 by three radicalized black women associated with a body known as the Freedom Road Socialist Organization funded by the George Soros run Tides Foundation. “Recruiting and building towards the creation of a new Communist Party based on Marxism-Leninism” is the FRSO’s primary objective..
The death of a black criminal named George Floyd at the hands of a bestial white cop in Minneapolis on May 25 this year gave BLM an instant nationwide political platform. Hordes of louts and criminal gangs went on a rampage looting shops and felling statues of national heroes. Millions of dollars from celebrities and corporates never stopped pouring into BLM’s coffers since.
BLM comrade Antifa traces its origins to radical left groups that resisted dictators such as Mussolini and Hitler in Europe in the 1930s. Among them was the communist-aligned German Antifaschistische Aktion which fought street battles with Hitler’s followers until it was forcibly disbanded in 1933.
The Democrats, a Centre-Left formation, have always been a sitting duck for a communist takeover since the Red scare of the forties and early fifties. McCarthyism for all its excesses forced its sponsors into retreat but failed to completely crush the threat. The specter of communism has been jabbing at the American body politic under more acceptable labels like progressivism, liberalism, and socialism. A sizeable swathe of the party has gradually come under the influence of the Far-Left since George Bush Jr. demitted office in 2008. Bernie Sanders, a closet commie, was their candidate of choice. Trump’s predecessor Barack Obama, a centrist, had the good sense to persuade Sanders to withdraw from the race, leaving the field clear for the moderate Biden, his former Veep. Most Americans, especially the urban bred, however remain blissfully unaware of the inbuilt dangers of a Biden presidency. Moderation and decency will not help the new incumbent deal with the expansionist ambitions of the CCP or Erdogan’s quest to revive an Islamic caliphate under Turkey’s suzerainty. Biden has already promised the induction of Muslims in every layer of administration. He lacks the resolve to take them on. Truth to tell it is doubtful if keeping China in check will at all be on Biden’s agenda given son Hunter’s business dealings with China and Russia. Details of the negotiations published in the New York Post were blacked out by the media. Top social platforms Facebook and Twitter removed the posts.
Additional details released by Republican senators Chuck Grassley (Iowa) and Ron Jonson (Wisconsin) on November 18 show Hunter’s alleged overseas links with foreigners who have close ties to the CCP and Moscow. The money trail reveals millions of dollars sent by a Shanghai-based company, a CCP front, to a close business associate of Hunter Biden. Similar dealings with Kremlin firms were also exposed.
Not for nothing has the Trump campaign raised the Titanic over the counting anomalies. The stakes are high and have serious implications for America’s future. At an elemental level it is both shocking and amusing that a nation which rejected Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) as a standard continues to put its trust in postal and absentee ballots, a legacy from the days of the American Civil War. The practice, in fact, stretches back to the 17th-century. Historian Alex Keyssar’s book The Right to Vote: The Contested History of Democracy in the United States informs that men in Massachusetts could vote from home if their homes were “vulnerable to Indian attack”.
Douglas W. Jones, a computer scientist at the University of Iowa and co-author of the book Broken Ballots, told the Scientific American magazine in an interview: “There is an old rule in computer security that I first learned in the 1970s, no less true today. And that is: the biggest threat to our systems is not the malicious outside hacker but rather the fact that there are lots of perfectly honest normal people making errors. We humans have an amazing ability to be remarkably accidentally inventive with the mistakes we make.” If machines can be so error prone, imagine the blunders the human hand can make while filling out a form, not to speak of the intermediaries at the post office whose job it is to reach the document to the right place at the right time.
Ballot harvesting goes hand in hand with mail-in voting. In 2006, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission released a report on election crimes which said:
“One point of agreement is that absentee voting and voter registration by nongovernmental groups create opportunities for fraud. For example, studies have cited circumstances in which voter registration drives have falsified voter registration applications or have destroyed voter registration applications of persons affiliated with a certain political party. Others conclude that paying persons per voter registration application creates the opportunity and perhaps the incentive for fraud.”
The Carter-Baker Commission recommended laws to address the risks of ballot harvesting:
“State and local jurisdictions should prohibit a person other than the voter from handling absentee ballots. An acknowledged family member, the U.S. Postal Service, or other legitimate shipper, or election official may be the only exceptions. The practice in some states of allowing candidates or party workers to pick up and deliver absentee ballots should be eliminated.”
The flawed electoral system now threatens to rip apart the very foundations of American democracy. Colored races in league with complicit whites wedded to faux notions of political correctness and equality are seeking to destroy all that the Pilgrim Fathers stood for: belief in God and loyalty to the nation.
