Rishi Sunak promises to shed political correctness while dealing with grooming gangs

Grooming gangs have been posing a grave security threat in the UK. In his interview on October 25, Rishi Sunak vowed not to allow political correctness to come in the way of dealing with these gangs.

OpIndia report notes:

On October 25, British MP and leader of the Conservative party Rishi Sunak was appointed the country’s Prime Minister by Prince Charles III. With him becoming the PM, a statement on grooming gangs he gave in August 2022 has gone viral. PM Sunak, during an exclusive interview with GB News, had said that people in the UK were scared of calling out grooming gangs because of political correctness.

During the interview, PM Sunak outlined how he would tackle the problem of grooming gangs in the UK. Notably, several reports of vulnerable minor girls being sexually exploited have continued to surface in towns like Rotherham, Telford and Oldham in the last few years. Investigations revealed that police and councils did not act appropriately in time and failed to protect the children from the grooming gangs.

PM Sunak called it a ‘horrific crime’ and vowed to tackle the problem as a priority if he was made Prime Minister.

In the interview with Esther McVey and Philip Davies, when he was asked if he had something planned to tackle the problem of grooming gangs just like the policy he had talked about tackling extremism, PM Sunak said the authorities had not been focused on the issue.

He said, “I have two young girls who are nine and eleven. I think for too long, we just haven’t focused on this issue. It’s a horrific crime. A horrific crime affecting not just girls in a few places, it’s far more pervasive across the country than we all realise. We all know the reason that people don’t focus on it is because of political correctness. They are scared of calling out the fact that there is a particular group of people who are perpetuating these crimes. I think that’s wrong, and I want to change it.”

He added that if he becomes the Prime Minister, he will form a new task force at the National Crime Agency that would focus on the problem of grooming gangs. He added, “We will have a requirement for police forces everywhere to prioritise this. I want to make sure that all police forces record the ethnicity of those involved, which currently is not done because people don’t want to do that. I want to create a brand new life sentence for those involved in grooming, with very limited options for parole.”

He said, “A Conservative government should not be letting political correctness stand in the way of keeping people safe.”

While it remains to be seen how Sunak would deal with the grooming gangs, Bharat could take a leaf from his book as far as dropping political correctness goes. The cases of grooming jihad are on the rise in Bharat as well.

Some of the recent grooming jihad cases have been listed here:

1) Multiple cases of grooming jihad of underage girls, including instances of grooming gangs, have been reported from Kerala. Two Islamists, including an upcoming movie director, were arrested for abducting a 17-year-old girl after luring her with the promise of a role in a film. Movie ‘director’ Jasik Ali (36) and his friend Shamnad (33), both residents of Kozhikode, were traced to Madiwala in Bangaluru by a police team that rescued the teenager.

2) July 2022: A shocking case of sexual exploitation of multiple girls via love/grooming jihad has come to light from Sonbhadra, UP. The accused Zeeshan was arrested for abducting a minor Hindu girl and forcing her to ‘marry’ him after the girl’s parents lodged a police complaint.

3) August 2022: In a new grooming case, Vadodara police booked Izhar Kalusha Dewan for blackmailing a Hindu girl using pictures and video of her private parts he had taken during a video. He forced the girl into a physical relationship by threatening to make the pictures and video shot during the call viral.

4) Statistics show that Islamic grooming of Hindu girls is spreading like wildfire in UP’s (Uttar Pradesh) Bareilly District. This indicates a conspiracy to deliberately trap Hindu girls and reports state that they were pressurized to convert to Islam as all the accused were Muslim.

5) November 2022: In another grooming jihad case, Sakir Mohammad duped a Hindu widow by posing as Rajkumar. It has also come to light that Sakir had even pressurised the woman to embrace Islam by blackmailing her using her pornographic clip recorded by him. He threatened to make her video viral if she refused to give in to his demands.

We have merely touched the tip of the iceberg in listing down the cases. Neither political parties that believe in vote-bank politics nor the judiciary that thinks ‘every sinner has a future’ has dealt with the issue with the seriousness it deserves. The Modi-led government needs to come up with a proper plan to deal with the problem and ensure justice is fast-tracked.

  1. That’s not an easy task, Mr Rishi Sunak.
It’s quite sickening to learn that these grooming gangs are spreading like wildfire in UP and also in other parts of India.

  2. Grooming gangs provide the biggest statistical evidence that all religions do NOT teach the same things.

    95% Muslim, 5% Sikh

    0% Hindu!!!!

Yes, you read that right, NOT ONE Hindu was ever part of any grooming gang. Even though Hindus live in same neighborhoods as the Muslims who composed vast majority of the grooming gangs.

I am a very proud Hindu when ever I see that! Jai Shri Ram!
