French President Macron bans gender-neutral words to preserve French language

French President Emmanuel Macron has banned the use of gender-neutral words in classrooms stating that they harm learning.

A report by The Daily Express says:

Its education ministry also said the words risk cementing the status of English as the world’s dominant language. To stop this it has issued a decree to all schools across the country which spelt out the importance of emphasizing a word’s gender to children.
