The local Hindu community in Kashmore, Sindh, Pakistan, is deeply concerned about the recent kidnapping of three Hindu youngsters and their car. On their way back from their shop, the three Hindu youth Nitesh Kumar, son of Babu Lal; Sanjay Kumar; and Nitesh Kumar, son of Mukesh Kumar—abducted. When their relatives attempted to reach them, their phones were off.
The family thought there might be an easy explanation at first, but it was not long before they realized the teenagers had been abducted. Authorities in Kashmore are still investigating, but no information regarding their location or the identity of the perpetrators has surfaced. To compound the community’s anxieties, members of the Hindu business community are regrettably kidnapped from Sindh on a regular basis and held for large ransoms.
The relatives of the missing youth have not been able to get in touch and are waiting anxiously for their safe return. Leaders and groups in the community have offered their assistance, but the teenagers are still missing.
The Hindu community in Kashmore, Sindh, has been protesting for the last six days against the abduction of three Hindu youths: Nitesh Kumar, son of Babu Lal; Sanjay Kumar; and Nitesh Kumar, son of Mukesh Kumar and are calling on the government to act immediately.
Abduction of Hindu youth especially girls is not uncommon in Pakistan. These unsuspecting girls are abducted and forcibly converted and married off to Pakistani Islamists.
