Massive protests have erupted in Georgia. Why? Because the Parliament passed a new law which will require nonprofit and media organizations to disclose ‘foreign affiliations’ if they receive more than 20 percent of their funds from abroad.
2. Foreign connection.
Protestors were seen waving the EU flag, as many foreign-funded NGOs who lobby to join the European Commission in Georgia will now have to disclose their source of funding.

3. US connection
Ned Price, spokesperson for US State Department expressed deep concern about “foreign agents” law in Georgia. He said law is not consistent with the aspirations of the Georgian people and could potentially jeopardise the country’s Euro-Atlantic future.
4. Interestingly, the Foreign Agents Registration Act, or FARA in United states is very similar to the new Georgian prosposed law.

Foreign Aid involvement in protests? Samantha Power, head of USAID, unsurprisingly also expressed her concern over Georgia’s proposed laws. Allegedly the protests in Georgia against the new law are also being organised by NGOs connected with USAID.

5. How USAID boosts economy of a nation?
• Promotes “independent media” which favour US foreign policy.
• Conducting fair elections which are Pro Washington.
• ‘Educate’ political groups and NGOs with billions in budgets.
USAID is nothing but an instrument to achieve US foreign policy objectives which serves only the American interests. Here is a detailed study of USAID in Egypt and how US implemented its policies in Egypt which led to Arab Spring. https://corescholar.libraries.wright.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=2976&context=etd_all

USAID is an important part of regime change cartel. They seek out opposition leaders who are really to compromise national security and not shy to create hindrances for their government’s laws which does not align with US interests.
USAID promotes political activism against any (anti US) elected government by funding biased independent media which can then reshape the minds of common people against the government. Violent protests plays a big role. Keep your eyes on Georgia!
