In 2024 professor Jiang Xueqin made three predictions, two of them have already come true and the world is watching with bated breath to see the outcome of the third. Professor Jiang predicted victory for Trump in US presidential elections.His second prediction that Trump will attack Iran has already happened.
His third prognosis that America will loose the war against Iran has the world flabbergasted and the way the war is unfolding in West Asia prof Jiang could score a perfect ten with all his predictions coming true.
Corroborating Jiang’s predictions Col (R) Douglas Macgregor a defense analyst who has seen many a battlefield said “All Iran has to do is survive and they will be victorious.” ” Middle East may be worse than anything ever seen in history,” he said.
The theatre of war is expanding fast and according to Macgregor their are two thousand Chinese in Iran assisting the Iranians with their technology and that the Iranians have an inexhaustible supply of missiles.
Chinese “Beidou,” navigation & satellite system with over 35 intelligence gathering satellites in orbit is providing real time information of American assets to Iran 24×7.
The Russians have their own “Glonass,” sophisticated satellite system providing Iran with eyes in the sky.
So the Iranians know exactly where the US ships are stationed , from where the US planes are taking off and what targets to hit.
The Russians and the Chinese have a considerable naval presence in the Indian Ocean and the gulf of Oman with their ships and submarines lurking in the waters across the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran’s asymmetrical warfare hitting valuable American assets in the middle east and using decoy aircrafts and military sites to exhaust expensive ammunition of the US is wrecking havoc on both Israel and the US allies in the gulf including kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain & Qatar.
Aramco’s Ras Tanura refinery one of the largest in the world is shut after taking a hit as are the Qatar’s LPG supply which account for 20% of the world’s gas.
Israel’s defences and multi million dollar interceptors like the Patriot & the THAAD have come a cropper in the face of Iranian low cost earth kissing drones propelled by moped engines.
The game changer has been the Fattah-2 hypersonic missiles travelling at a speed of 15machs and creating a PLASMA SHEATH because of it’s high speed and low trajectory thus jamming enemy communication and evading enemy radar unlike the ballistic missiles which follow a parabolic trajectory and can be intercepted easily.
Thus we saw the crumbling of Israeli’s “Iron Dome,” shield as Tel Eviv and Israeli’s energy infrastructure including the Lethevian oil & gas facility were hit by the Iranians.
The Iranian strategy is simple. In the absence of air & naval power it is relying on it’s missiles & drones to hit America’s gulf partners, air bases & energy infrastructure to disrupt energy supplies and also to make countries like UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia & Qatar feel vulnerable in the absence of the US being unable to protect their infrastructure & oil assets.
They will start questioning and doubting America ‘s superpower status and could look elsewhere strongly denting America ‘s image.
In turn these gulf allies could withhold their future investments in America running into trillions and also withdraw their petro dollars.
On the eastern part of the world Japan & South korea, both US allies are the biggest consumers of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz which has been blocked by Iran.
South korea gets nearly 70% of it’s energy through this Strait and Japan almost 60%. Their economies are bound to be effected and they will also begin suspecting the US as the guardian of their interests.
If Iran is able to withstand the combined assault of US and Israel -as it has done so far – and keep hurting US allies in the region with it’s asymmetric war tactics, disruption of global economy we are in for a protracted war and Professor Jiang’s third prophecy could well turn out to be true.
