Lakhani Ji had a great contribution in removing the misconception about Hinduism among Westerns & Indian alike. He was an Enlighted soul who like a Lamp spreading light of Hinduism driving away the darkness that has been enshrouded around Hindu beliefs and traditions.— Rajeev - Counting my blessings (@RajeevR2021) December 5, 2020

Jay (aka Dilip) was my neighbour in Dar in early 60's. Later in UK we both lived in the same city - Birmingham, before moving to London.— Dipu (@dipu412) December 5, 2020
Born intellectual....he has done so much to promote Hinduism in UK.
Pity that #BBC never gave him chance he deserved.

You have been a go to person to many of my office conversations to explain about Hinduism in English. I am sure you will enlighten the heavens as well with your insightful thoughts, with your iconic gesture of putting on & removing spectacles 🙏🏽
Jay Lakhani ji influenced me a lot when I was rediscovering my Hindu roots after being an Athiest for a few years. I am grateful to him for helping me and many like me to understand our Sanatana Dharma.— Kaushik (@Kaushik_reddy25) December 5, 2020

A theoretical physicist,, Dr Lakhani's passion was to bring to all Hindus (from school children to scientists) the truth of Hindu dharma. So sad to hear this news. Jay Lakhani brought a greater understanding of #Hinduism to a wider audience, appearing on British television shows. His work enabled many who grew up in the UK to relate key concepts to our modern lives over here. RIP. 🙏 https://t.co/AvXxluWJGf— Cllr Hitesh Tailor (@Hitesh_T) December 4, 2020
Shocked and saddened by the untimely demise of Jay Lakhani ji. He was a Hindu scholar, who also taught Hinduism at the prestigious Eton College. His service to the Hindu community, especially in UK was stellar. Deepest condolences to his family. ॐ सद्गति 🙏🏻@hinduacademy https://t.co/dB0g72DevX— Manu Khajuria 🇮🇳 (@KhajuriaManu) December 4, 2020
We were blessed to have him as our first teacher, online, on a structured introduction to our spiritual path. We even had the opportunity to meet him in person. An unforgettable moment of sheer joy. We pray for him, and that many more emerge to teach Hinduism online to millions. https://t.co/vxjgwlSEnf— Gopal Srinivasan (@GopalSri) December 5, 2020
