The Deep State must be destroyed before it destroys US, says Trump. And why, that could be assessed from the former foreign secretary Henry Kisinger’s own experience enclosed in his ‘memoir’. He writes: ‘In 1969 a letter was sent to acquire an information about Neval-programme. No satisfactory response could reach to me during all 8 years of my two tenures.’
This only is the invisible all- powerful lasting existence of Deep State consisting corporate group, network of bureaucracy, self-serving NGOs. The ‘White man’s burden theory’ that was once pushed forward by Church, behind it now in the modern time has come stood Deep State. And which has assumed inseparable part of US foreign policy. Holding themselves to be superior, their declared mission is to make world ‘civilized’. Behind its veil the geo-political interests are served though.
Through implanting Christianity where Church did that; so, did it the Deep State, using democracy, human right and such other high-sounding slogans as tools. And not only separately, many a time jointly, more so, backed by USAID.
And India is no exception to be bled by them. What only we need is to refresh our memory of the infamous incidents of Tuticorin based (now a closed) Vedanta Sterlite Copper Plant and Kudankulam Nuclear Plant. It was the time when stood in forefront against them with the Naxalites were the missionaries like today.
Regarding the Vedanta Sterlite Copper Plant even superstar Rajnikant had to say that the agitation had been patronized by anti-social elements. The name of one padre gained much limelight in the agitation. He then claimed that besides activities on the open streets, the prayers are being observed inside the Churches also to make it a success.
In the enquiry it was exposed that the padre got the crores of rupees in return for this work. Because of growth in industrial activities and employment generation in the entire region due to plant, Unions of traders were against the agitation since very beginning. But due to the pressure of 34 Christian trading Unions they too succumbed to have fallen in the line later.
Ultimately the plant got to have shut down, and whatever economic loss forces abroad and their agents inside the country intended to incur upon India they succeeded to have brought about that. The production of copper fell by 46.1%. In 2017-18 where we were among the top five world exporters, by 2020 we turned to be the importer of copper.
The issue of Kudankulam Nuclear Plant is no different either. Every tactic from demonstration, public protest to agitation was adopted so that the project could anyhow not come into execution. One of the ministers of the then Manmohan Singh led UPA government alleged that the two NGOs running under the protection of Roman-Catholic Bishop were given 54 crores rupees to make the things more violent. Fortunately, missionaries could not gain success that time, and Nuclear plant could come into existence. One of the leaders on forefront of the agitation was later fought the Loksabha election from the AAP party, though got defeated.
Of late, so also, church stood in agitation against the country’s first Transshipment hub being built by Adani in Trivandrum at Vizhinjam international sea-coast. So much so that the CM of CPM, Pinarayi Vijyan, had to warn, the Church should not think that the government could be threatened, Adani port will be made in all condition. And then it came into existence fully built.
Noble Laureate, Kailash Satyarthi, indeed, rightly said – ‘Some people made social welfare and social transformation a business. NGO is being used also for the religious conversion. For a section of people NGO has become a source of making career, not social transformation.’
In India from USAID came $83.2 million in 2020; $94.3 million in 2021; $228 million in 2022; $175.7 million in 2023 ; and $151.8 million in 2024. Where this now went now today that could be understood.
