Bangladesh: Jillur Rahman repeatedly raped his own daughter, arrested
Yesterday, RAB(Rapid Action Battalion) arrested Jillur Rahman (55), accused of raping his own daughter repeatedly.
As per reports, in November 2022, Jillur Rahman forcefully raped his minor daughter(14). He also threatened her not to disclose the incident to anyone. The girl alleged that her father raped her after that many times.
Due to repeated rape, the girl got pregnant. Then her family members got to know about the incident. Since then, Jillur Rahman has been absconding.
Later, the girl’s elder brother filed a complaint at Kishorganj Model Police station. After receiving the complaint, the police took the girl for medical checkup. It is found in Ultrasonography that the girl is 27 weeks pregnant. Then, the police and RAB launched a search to capture the accused father.
On a late-night operation, RAB arrested accused Jillur Rahman from Madhurdia village of Kishorganj Sadar district. Later, RAB handed over the accused to the police.
