Amid the efforts by the Muhammad Yunus-led interim government to fool the international community by denying the attacks on the Hindu minorities, Islamists are not stopping. Almost every day, Islamists are targeting and vandalising temples after temples. A fresh case has been reported from the Netrakona district of Bangladesh.
On the evening of the 6th of December, Islamists attacked a Kali Mata temple. Islamists have vandalised the temple and ran away. The Murti of Kali Mata is also vandalised completely.
The temple is situated in the Netrakona Sadar Upazila. Local Hindus said that they failed to catch any Islamists as they ran away.
Soon after the incident, local Hindus informed the Police. A team from the Sadar Police Station reached the spot and talked with the locals. The police have started an official investigation. As of now, no one has been identified or arrested.
