Bangladesh: Attack in Shiva temple, Murti broken

Attack on Hindu temples continues in Bangladesh. Yesterday night, unknown miscreants attacked a Shiva temple in Magura district.

As per received information, today morning locals found that the Murti is broken of Trinath Shiva temple. Local Hindus gathered at the temple in large numbers as news spread. As the incident happened at night, locals have no idea about who are behind this.

But they suspect the role of radical islamic elements behind this. Expressing their anger, local Hindus said that breaking Murtis have become very common nowadays. Because most of the time, police fails to arrest the culprits or if someone got arrested, then police declares him mentally unstable. That’s why such cases are increasing, they said.
