Unidentified criminals vandalised three murtis of Maa Kali at a temple in Sujanagar upazila of Pabna district in central Bangladesh, reports The Daily Star .
Temple committee members found the three murtis damaged at Ahmedpur Baroari Kali Mondir on Friday morning and informed the police, Officer in Charge (OC) of Aminpur Police Station Mozammel Haque said.
The criminals also looted all the ornaments from the murtis, the police official said.
Dilip Chandra Sutrodhar, president of the temple managing committee, filed a case on Friday night, the OC said.
Meanwhile, in another attack on a Hindu temple in Bangladesh on Friday, a Maa Chandi temple in Chandgaon, Chittagong district of Bangladesh was looted and plundered by suspected Muslim criminals.
