Young RSS worker Nandhu killed by Islamist terrorists of the SDPI in Kerala

A young RSS worker named Nandhu has been brutally hacked to death and another has had his hand chopped off near Vayalar in Alapuzha district of Kerala by SDPI terrorists. This happened yesterday night after the SDPI cadre unleashed violence using sharp weapons.

Nandhu R Krishna, aged 23, son of Thottaparambu Radhakrishnan, the RSS Mukhya Shikshak of Nagamkulangara unit was killed while another RSS Pracharak K S Nandhu has been admitted to a hospital in Ernakulam where he is in a serious condition with his right hand chopped off.

The incident has drawn criticism from society as a whole and points to a conspiracy. Several Hindu organizations including the BJP and the RSS have condemned the incident and have declared a 12-hour hartal in Alappuzha district today.

M V Gopakumar, the BJP district President said that the terrorist organization called SDPI had conspired to kill Nandhu. He added that this incident confirms the presence of radically linked terror groups in Kerala. He also warned that if the police do not take this seriously and act immediately, the effects would be felt all across Kerala.

Seven SDPI members who took part in the incident are in police custody. Four of them with injuries have been admitted to a private hospital near Vayalar, where the incident occurred. They include Riyas, Nishad, Anas, Abdulqadar, Ansil, and Suneer.

Media reports suggested tension in the area for the past few days. The SDPI (Social Democratic Party of India) has been trying hard along with its big brother, the PFI (Popular Front of India) to incite violence in Kerala ever since Yogi Adityanath, the UP CM agreed to flag off the Vijay Yatra of K Surendran. the BJP state unit President, from Kasargod. The Yatra was flagged off on the 21st of this month and has been moving from town to town attracting massive numbers of supporters. This has irked the Islamic radicals.

Flagging off the Yatra, Yogi had warned both the ruling communists and the opposition Congress party against allowing radical elements to set shop in Kerala by providing a safe haven for such terrorists. He also saluted the BJP workers who he said were working in extremely difficult conditions. A young worker has now had to make the ultimate sacrifice for standing up for his beliefs and opposing fanatical, fascist forces.

Units of SDPI had been carrying out route marches in different places of Kerala for the past few days and have been provoking Hindus with religiously provocative slogans. Valayar SDPI had followed suit and this violence is a continuation of the same. They had conducted a march yesterday afternoon under the eyes of a police contingent.

Slogans were raised trying to incite violence following which tempers flared between two communities and a verbal altercation ensued. By evening both communities hit the streets conducting marches. By late evening both the groups dispersed and that is when the SDPI radicals attacked Nandhu’s house. It happened around 8.30 pm.

As news spread and more RSS workers reached the spot, the SDPI terrorists attacked them with deadly weapons. Media also reported heavy stone-throwing. Nandhu was attacked from behind and was hacked in the head. He and another worker who had his hand lacerated were taken to the Cherthala Taluk Hospital where unfortunately Nandhu breathed his last.

Local media who reached the spot did show what looked like a residential area where the killing took place. The radicals threw away the swords used for the killing and fled the scene. A couple of swords were found near the site and there were bloodstains at the spot where this brutal attack happened. The presence of the weapons and the traditional trademark chopping of hands both confirm the handiwork of the murder squad of the SDPI terrorist network. That the ones in police custody were not locals confirms conspiracy and the police did concur the same.

We had reported about a PFI march on 17 Feb that was a reenactment of the Moplah violence of 1921, and which depicted two RSS workers in chains. Media had downplayed that march with a bizarre defense that men shown as RSS workers were from PFI only and there was no actual violence. Even RSS state functionaries failed to condemn that depiction with full force and take legal action. And today we have the result of ignoring such hate speech and dress rehearsals – yet another young Hindu life snuffed out by Islamist radicals. Condemnation of Nandhu’s murder must come from the very top of RSS and all legal avenues explored to get rapid justice for his family.

This also raises another question. Why, after such a mountain of evidence of its involvement in terrorist acts, riots (including Delhi anti-CAA and Bengaluru riots), running terror training camps etc., is PFI and its child organisations like SDPI, CFI still not banned by the Union Home Ministry?
