Online campaign by Kapil Mishra to raise funds for Hindu victims of Delhi riots raises Rs. 71 lakhs

An online crowd-funding campaign to provide relief for the shell-shocked victims of Delhi’s anti-Hindu riots has met its goal well before time. The campaign on crowd-funding platform ‘Crowdkash’ was started by a team working under the leadership of BJP MLA Kapil Mishra. It raised the targeted amount of Rs. 71 lakhs 12 days before the campaign was supposed to end, and is no longer accepting contributions.

Almost 4000 people contributed to the campaign, with 7 people contributing over Rs. 50,000. The names of the contributors show that Hindus cutting across region have come to the aid of the poor families who lost their near and dear ones, homes and in many cases their entire life savings.

Here is how the campaign described itself –

Background :

Delhi saw one of the worst riots in the country’s history where many underprivileged families’ lives got impacted. Many lost their loved ones, properties (shops/homes etc) due to the violent riots.

Goal of the campaign :

We currently have an on-ground team that is looking for such families who’s lives have been shattered.  The goal of this campaign is to identify families who are massively impacted due to the riots and help them with monetary assistance. We believe that this would act as a short term relief for these underprivileged Hindu families who have been impacted by the riots. We may extend the goal amount if we find more such families that deserve our help and assistance. We will extend the fundraiser amount as we progress and ascertain the losses of lives and properties of these families. The list is growing. The funds will be transferred to the impacted family accounts directly. Regular updates will be provided and will be managed with full transparency

About the campaigner :

This campaign is managed by a group of Dharmics under the leadership of Kapil Mishra ji, (ex-MLA Delhi).

We request each and everyone to come forward and help the families out in whatever way it’s possible for them!

Dharmo rakshati, rakhsitah :  – You save Dharma, Dharma saves you!

To ‘secular’ and dhimmi Hindus who question why this campaign is providing relief only to Hindu families, here is Kapil Mishra’s answer as per this interview with Swarajya

“We are helping those who have no one else for them. I have sympathy for all victims, but the Waqf board and many other Muslim organisations are helping Muslim riot victims. The AAP state government’s track record also does not inspire confidence that ordinary Hindu victims will be treated fairly by them. One community (Muslims) in this riot is getting support of the entire world, while the other (Hindus) are being made out as villains and being painted as violent. It is important that someone assuage the hurt and pain of Hindus, that we provide immediate relief to those who have lost their all.”

The days of whining about lack of Hindu unity and about Hindus being apathetic to Hindu suffering are well and truly over. Ordinary Hindus possess great strength and resilience as the response to these traumatic riots have shown. We are also not going to fall for the usual deception and tricks of our enemies.

It is now for Hindu elites to understand the seismic change occurring at grass-roots level. If they can’t support Hindu causes, they must at least cease to fund vicious anti-Hindu propagandists in media (The Wire, Scroll, Quint etc), academia (Ashoka University etc), Bollywood and other spheres. If not, Hindus will do everything in their power to expose and boycott the traitors in our midst with Hindu-sounding names.
