“Most Hindus are Still Sleeping…We Need to go Beyond Social Media, Become Agents of Dharma”: Ashish Dhar, Founder of Pragyata.com

There can be no denying that there has been a socio-cultural renaissance & awakening among Hindus in the last few years, primarily due to the information revolution brought about by internet and social media.

HinduPost spoke to one of the young Hindus who is actively involved in this movement – Ashish Dhar, founder of Pragyata.com, an online portal which focuses on scholarship and research on cultural and spiritual matters linked to Hindu civilization and offers e-courses on the same.

In this interview conducted by Sri Mayank Jain on behalf of HinduPost, we discuss how the jihad in Kashmir (something personally experienced by Ashish Dhar) is now spilling over into Jammu, the demographic stress facing Hindus in several pockets of the country, what was the motivation behind Pragyata, and what needs to happen to take the Hindu renaissance beyond its current nascent stage.

We will look to post an English transcript of the above interview soon.
