The ongoing lockdown due to Wuhan virus pandemic has affected daily wage earners, migrant labourers and other deprived sections of our society the most. Despite the hardships they are facing, poor Hindus are adhering to all protocols of lockdown unlike those who are attacking health workers and police.
Many organisations & ordinary Hindus are working tirelessly to provide food to the poor at this critical juncture. We request our readers to aid these efforts with whatever contribution they can, and to pray for the well-being of all sections of our samaj.

Tamil Nadu
There are multiple efforts underway in TN as well by Hindu religious charities and individuals, who are soliciting support through crowd-funding platforms
1. ) Aram Valartha Nayaki Sevai Mayyam is supporting 3000 underprivileged families who have lost livelihood.
They are an NGO inspired and trained by Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, focused in the low-income neighbourhoods of Chennai. Our larger mission is preservation of Dharma as per Pujya Swamiji’s vision.
Aram (அறம்) is at the center of all of their efforts. Aram is the Tamil equivalent of Dharma – an ancient Bharatiya concept for all of life and indeed the entire universe. Aram Valartha Nayaki is Dharma Samvardhini, the Shakthi or cosmic energy principle that animates the entire universe from the sub-atomic particle to the entire Universe. Our Seva is geared towards ensuring that human beings are convinced of the natural order of Dharma and in helping ordinary people establish their lives in harmony with Dharma.
Our ancient seers who understood this problem that we are trying to solve hit upon karma – or activity – as the means of keeping people wedded to Dharma. Karma includes rituals, observances, practices and activities – all geared towards ensuring people upholding Dharma in their daily life.
