Serial liar Kejriwal blames centre for R-Day violence, says “farmers were misguided about Delhi roads”

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) president, Arvind Kejriwal, on Sunday, blamed the centre of orchestrating violence on Republic Day at Red Fort during the farmers’ tractor rally.

Addressing a ‘Kisan Mahapanchayat’ in Meerut, Kejriwal extended his support to the farmers and said, “The centre is behind the Red Fort violence, not the farmers. It misguided the farmers who did not know Delhi roads.” The Delhi Chief Minister said that he was aware of what had happened on the day the farmers took out a tractor parade.

The AAP leader said that the protesting farmers faced atrocities which were not meted out even during the British rule. Kejriwal described the three agricultural laws as death warrants and said that the laws had been passed to benefit capitalist friends of the government.

Anyone who has seen videos of the violence that so-called farmer unions unleashed on Delhi police (around 400 cops suffered injuries) on Republic Day, will know that Kejriwal is lying through his teeth. The protestors who had camped on Delhi’s borders after driving all the way from Punjab did not know the route in Delhi on which they were permitted to carry out their tractor rally, crashed through barricades and ‘accidentally’ got diverted towards the Red Fort complex, and somehow ended up hoisting the Khalsa flag at a national site reserved for the tricolor? Even Kejriwal and his handlers should know better than to come up with such ridiculous theories.

Just like most opposition parties like Congress, AAP has been utterly exposed over its hypocritical U-turn over the farm laws which experts have unanimously held as benefical to the vast majority of the farmers of this country. In 2016, the AAP manifesto for the Punjab elections proposed “Best Price for Farmer” via amendment to the APMC Act to “allow farmers to sell their produce to buyers & markets of their choice in and outside the state”. The manifesto also claimed that AAP would invite large scale private investment in farmer markets and infrastructure. All this is exactly what the 3 news laws aim for!

Such lies and hyperbole are unsuprising for anyone who has followed Kejriwal’s political career. The ex-IRS officer who shot up in the lucrative left-liberal activism world after winning the dubious Ramon Magaysaysay award (established by the CIA-front organisation Ford Foundation), first hijacked the Anna Hazare led India Against Corruption movement to launch his own political party AAP. The party, whose raison d’etre was the mega corruption scams which erupted during UPA-2, made a deft U-turn just before the 2014 elections when Kejriwal started attacking Modi in an attempt to prop himself up as a PM candidate of an imagined post-election third front.

Ever since, Kejriwal’s politics has been a mish-mash of tall claims, abuse and invective directed against the PM, furtive alliances all manners of anti-Hindu forces like Islamists (Delhi riots key accused Tahir Hussain was an AAP councillor, while other Muslim AAP MLAs like Amanatullah Khan, Haji Yunus etc. instigated the anti-Hindu mobs through hate speech and other support) and Khalistanis.

Betraying a serious mental disorder, he has in the past made wild claims like “BJP will get me killed by my own personal security officer”, or that “Modi & BJP can get him and other AAP workers killed”. Probably projecting his own attributes on the person whom he sees as the primary opponent to his sky-high political ambitions, he has also called the PM a coward, psychopath, and an ‘ISI Agent’.
