The Irinjalakuda Diocese of Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Thrissur has come out with allegations and scathing comments against MLA KT Jaleel, Congress, and the ruling Marxists. The April issue of the Syro-Malabar mouthpiece ‘Kerala Sabha’ stated that LDF (Marxist allies) and UDF (Congress and Indian Union Muslim League) are extremist Islamic alliances in Kerala. (The LDF (Left Democratic Front) has been in power since 2016, and the United Democratic Front (UDF) is the main opposition.)
The most hostile comments were reserved for Jaleel, the former Waqf and Hajj minister and current MLA from Thavanur in Malappuram. Jaleel is anti-Christian and has terrorist roots, the paper explained. It described how Jaleel recently issued death threats (Sar Tan Se Juda) (STSJ) against Thalassery Archbishop Mar Joseph Pamplany. The article also added that Jaleel should be arrested immediately.
The article is titled ‘Kerala is watching the Kakkukali being enacted by a radical Islamic alliance of ruling and opposition parties.’ (Kakkukali is a popular dance form performed by Christian women during festivals and special occasions.) Several radical Islamists, just like Jaleel, have infiltrated the LDF and UDF. The report reasons that the Christian community in Kerala is unsafe in the face of these dark forces.
Both these political fronts came to power using Christian votes and then cheated the farmers. Their inaction prompted Pamplany to speak against these politicians. Pamplany requested the BJP-led central government to guarantee a minimum support price (MSP) of Rs.300 for a kilo of rubber. This shook the LDF/UDF fronts, and Jaleel openly incited his jihadi supporters to behead anyone who accepted the MSP provided by the BJP.
Many strategies are being floated through the media to justify the gross deception these political outfits have been doing to the farmers for decades. (Most media houses are left/jihadi-leaning that operate with impunity. Incidentally, this year, the so-called ‘Christian leaning’ Malayala Manorama newspaper was published on Good Friday/Easter but did not print on Ramadhan).
CPM State Secretary M V Govindan and M A Baby misinterpreted Pamplany’s words, but their propaganda failed to impact Christian society. (Baby, an ‘atheist’ Marxist leader, claimed that Pamplany gave up principles and Christian beliefs and ranted about Maoist Stan Swamy. Many consider Baby an Islamist stooge. Communist Christians hate Govindan, and he was forced to address empty chairs just last month at the Christian stronghold of Kottayam).
This was when the green communists unleashed anti-national Jaleel. The green communist has always taken a solid anti-christian stance. He also has terrorist roots. (Jaleel is one of the founding fathers of the treacherous terrorist outfit SIMI). He threatened and challenged that Bishop Pamplany and his supporters would need their heads (STSJ) to accept the MSP.
(Local Christians considered Jaleel’s statement a clear incitement against their community and protested. Pinarayi Vijayan’s police force refused to register cases against Jaleel. He has repeatedly proved to be a mere puppet in the hands of his Arab handlers. Jaleel’s name figured prominently in the gold smuggling scandal that hit Vijayan’s office, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned the extremist MLA.)
The Syro-Malabar article says that Jaleel should also be charged for his radical comments against Prof. T J Joseph, who had his hands chopped by Islamists in 2010. Jaleel also threatened Pala Syro-Malabar Catholic Bishop Joseph Kallarangatt. In 2021, Kallarangatt accused jihadis of promoting their religion and terminating non-Muslims. They use ‘love jihad and narcotic jihad for this.’ Kallarangatt said.
The Syro-Malabar report also reminded Christians that the communists were protecting Jaleel. He is an Islamist ideologist who faced severe allegations of gold smuggling, minority rights fraud, and nepotism. The Lokayukta had to intervene and remove Jaleel from the ministry for corruption.
The article also criticized the UDF. Congress and its allies have not spoken against Jaleel. This is because UDF cannot survive without Muslim votes. There are also commercial interests behind the media silence, the report concluded.
