“Delhi Police files FIR against TMC MP Mahua Moitra for her ‘Pajama’ remark against NCW Chief Rekha Sharma”, Opindia, July 7 ,2024:

“On Sunday (7th July), a case related to outraging the modesty of a woman was registered against TMC MP Mahua Moitra for her derogatory remarks against National Commission of Women (NCW) chief Rekha Sharma.

As per reports, the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit of the Delhi Police Special Cell will now seek details from X (formerly Twitter) about the account from which the controversial post was made against the NCW Chief. 

Police stated that the matter will be further investigated after receiving the information. Notably, an FIR was registered against the controversial TMC MP after the Women’s Commission had lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police in connection with her ‘Pajama’ remark against Sharma……”
