Yesterday, Tripura Police arrested 5 Rohingya Muslim infiltrators for entering illegally without any valid documents.
Of the five arrested Rohingya infiltrators, three are men, and two are women. They have been identified as Aman Ullah, Muhammad Shah, Muhammad Ehsash, Rozina Begum and Nur Kalima.
During primary interrogation, the arrested Rohingyas said that they entered Bhaart through the unfenced Dharmanagar border with the help of touts/agents. Each of them paid 25,000 Bangladeshi Taka to the agents. Also, agents gave them Aadhaar cards with different names with local addresses. But the Adhaar cards are fake, said police.
They also said that they were living in Kutupalong refugee camp situated in Cox Bazar of Bangladesh. They heard that Rohingyas are living happily in Jammu and that is why they left the camp in Bangladesh end entered Bharat.
Later, they took a bus and reached Dharmanagar Railway station to catch a train to Jammu. Before that, on duty RPF personnel identified them and detained them. Later they were handed over to police.
