The Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi (RJB) was awarded to Hindus by the Supreme Court in its verdict in November last year following which the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust was created and given the task of constructing a temple dedicated to Prabhu Sri Ram. While the task of levelling the land was underway over the last few days, several artefacts testifying the existence of a Hindu temple were discovered.

Among the artefacts were five foot Shiv Ling, damaged idols of Devis and Devtas, six pillars of red sandstone and seven pillars of black touchstone. This discovery only reinforces the ASI findings which had pointed towards the presence of an ancient temple under the Babri Masjid structure. Marxist historians had not only refused to accept the truth but had also tried every form of dishonesty to keep the Babri Masjid-RJB issue burning. In this background, these discoveries assume additional significance because they make it clear in no uncertain terms that the Babri Masjid was indeed constructed after destroying an existing Hindu temple.

Shri Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has issued a statement with respect to the discovery in which he has stated that a 4 feet 11 inch tall Shiv Ling with a circumference of 22 inches was unearthed and that a similar Shiv Ling has been found at Kuber Teela as well.

These discoveries also point out towards the need to conduct a thorough excavation before the construction work begins so as to discover and preserve any other buried artefacts. This discovery has also amply exposed alleged historians who are nothing but Marxist propagandists attempting to mislead the public as well as academia (particularly international) out of their hatred for everything Hindu.
This also proves that Marxist historians had provided false affidavits in the SC which is a very serious offense and needs to be taken cognisance of. Action must be taken against them for lying to and misleading the apex court.
