Temple Priest, His Wife & 5 Others Brutally Attacked By Muslim Miscreants In Mewat, Haryana –

In a shocking incident that happened in Mewat (Nuh) district of Haryana, a temple priest Vedram, his wife Prahladi and five others were brutally beaten by Muslim boys in the temple premises in village Beesru. The region is known for being communally sensitive. The news is missing from all national dailies and TV channels.

The incident is given in detail only on this portal, with names mentioned. It seems that the issue began when the temple priest’s wife Prahladi came to fill water in the morning from the tap in temple premises. She saw Alim and Raka touching the deity idols inappropriately and objected immediately. Upon her objection, these men started misbehaving with Prahladi. Vedram, who was working nearby, came to the spot and tried to stop the boys. But they started abusing and punching him. They picked up wooden plank lying nearby and hit Vedram with it. Then they pulled Prahladi from her hair and dragged her around. In the meantime, some villagers (Babulal, Pawan, Rohtash, Nemchand etc) came to help the couple.

Then, Alim and Raka called up a gang of 18 to 20 Muslim men to the temple premises. These people came in Bolero and motorcycles and started hitting Vedram, Prahladi and other villagers with iron rods and butts of country made pistols.  The couple & other villagers have sustained serious injuries and one is said to be very serious. FIR has been lodged with police. It seems that Alim and Raka left after issuing the threat of worse consequences in future. The police is investigating the case while the injured are recovering in hospital.

  1. The state government’s duty is to protect persons and properties of all individuals. If such event takes place it is the failure of the government. Let it happen in UP and face the music
