Even though the dwindling majority of Kanyakumari Hindus might have realised the threat of missionary activities too late, they are putting up a valiant fight against the conversion maniacs only to be crushed by the establishment.
Aware Hindus of a village, Perum Selva Vilai in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu took offence to a group of pastors from the neighbouring village’s church who came to distribute Bible, pamphlets etc. in an attempt to convert the innocent residents of the village. In a video circulated on social media, men could be seen asking the missionaries, ”Why do you come to our village? Do we come to yours? Have we not already told that you people shouldn’t come here? Do we come there to convert you, spread our faith? Why are you calling me brother? Am I your brother? Were you born with me? You call me brother, if you are indeed my brother then why don’t you apply Pattai (sacred ash), kungumam?” Then they ask someone to bring the sacred ash and it could be seen being applied on the pastors’ forehead.
One of the pastors seems to have lodged a police complaint against the villagers involved in this incident. As per people in the know, despite the police SHO promising to settle the matter amicably and everyone agreeing to it, five men were arrested out of whom three were charged.

Times of India reported that “The accused were booked under sections 294(b) (using abusive language), 323 (punishment for rioting), 295(a) (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting religion or religious beliefs), 341(punishment for wrongful restraint) and 506(ii) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code’. It also quoted the Superintendent of Police saying that the inquiry was underway and further action would be taken after its completion.
Hindu Munnani (HM), which bailed two of the three charged persons from the police station, alleges that the SP said they were acting on high pressure from top level. HM has also insisted the police lodge a complaint against the pastors who tried to indulge in forced conversion.
Kanyakumari..
Our brothers 3 of 5 been charged (case). Took 2 bail from station, 1remanded, monday bail petition will be filed. SP told high pressure from top-level? #Hindumunnani insisted to put case against 7,who came for conversion in Hindu area.— Hindu Munnani (@hindumunnaniorg) January 18, 2019
This issue has also brought out TN BJP’s explicit involvement, at least in words, to help ordinary Hindus who are affected by the missionary mafia. The request to help the youngster for whom bail couldn’t be obtained grabbed the attention of former Karnataka minister & BJP general secretary C T Ravi who requested TN BJP president Tamilisai Soundararajan to take necessary steps to protect Hindus, who readily replied that she will look into the matter immediately.
Request @BJP4TamilNadu President @DrTamilisaiBJP to kindly look into this matter and take the necessary steps to protect Our Supporters.

Will look in to this matter immediately it came to my notice now only

Hindus of Perum Selva Vilai and the neighbouring villages protested against the arrest and inaction on the ones involved in forceful conversion by insulting Hindu religious beliefs.
