Sikh Girl Student Harassed & Beaten In Kashmir – Father Alleges Pressure to Convert

A Sikh girl college student has been assaulted by 2 masked men in South Kashmir, and her father has alleged that her attackers were harassing her for conversion for over one month.

Going by this news report,

“A female student was injured after she was beaten by two masked men at Bus Stand in Tral town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.

An official said that student identified as Mandeep Kaur, daughter of Amarjeet Singh, a resident of Gandhpora Tral and a student of Islamic University of Science and Technology was beaten by two masked men riding on a motorcycle at Bus stand in Tral, resulting into her minor injuries.

The injured lady was shifted to hospital where from she was discharged after the first aid.”

A tweet related to this incident was also found on social media which says that Muslim boys beat the Sikh girl for not accepting their advances to lure and convert her religion in Kashmir.

This incident again shows that targeting women of all non-Muslim communities – Hindu, Jain, Sikh, Buddhist, tribal etc – is a well-honed strategy of Islamists. Along with the recent Islamic State terror attack on Sikhs & Hindus in Afghanistan, it is ironical that there are still fringe sections of Khalistan supporting people in Sikh community who say that it is Hindu Dharma & its leaders that are the enemies of Sikhism.
