Are ordinary Muslims being instigated to level fake allegations to mar Yogi Administration?

The alleged rape case which was reported to have occurred in a coach for the disabled in the Lucknow-Chandigarh express took a new turn on Wednesday. In her statement in the court, the alleged victim reneged on her previous statement that she was raped. She in fact gave a clean chit to the accused constable. After her statement, the court handed her over to her maternal grandfather. The accused constable, on the other hand, was sent to jail after he was presented in the court.

On Tuesday morning a GRP constable was found locked with a woman in the  coach for the disabled when the Lucknow-Chandigarh express arrived at Bijnore station. Some passengers chased him and beat him up. Later there was bedlam even in the district hospital. On the complaint of the woman, a resident of Meerut, a case was registered against the constable Kamal Shukla. He was then suspended by the GRP Superintendent of Moradabad. On Wednesday, the constable was presented in the court and sent to jail afterwards.

But the case took a shocking turn on Wednesday afternoon. When the woman gave her statement in court, she backtracked from her previous accusations. Investigator in the matter, SO (GRP) Vijay Singh, said that in her statement the woman said she was sick and so the constable made her sit inside the coach for the disabled after expelling some youth sitting there. The same youth who were angered at being driven out, later created a ruckus and attacked the constable.

The woman said that she was in a half conscious state on Tuesday, which is why she could not give her statement correctly. She categorically denied that rape was committed with her. The investigative officer said that further action would be taken only after the slide report comes from the laboratory.

The lady was found pregnant in medical examination

According to hospital and police sources, the woman was found to be pregnant as per the medical reports, whereas police says she was divorced one year back. The woman’s grandfather also confirmed that she is divorced and said that he has undergone any trouble’s due to her behavior.

Another case in UP

In one more case which took place in Amroha district (West UP), five persons including three women, were booked last Saturday evening for allegedly promoting enmity between religious communities through their false statements about harassment at Sakatpur village, as per a report published in The Indian Express. The FIR was lodged at Sadnagli police station against Ahmed Ali, his brother Rehmat Ali, Tahiba, Zareena and Sahjahan — all residents of Sakatpur village — under IPC section 153-A (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc, and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony). No one has been arrested so far.

The police said that over the last two weeks, there have been some tense moments in the village with some people objecting to Muslims offering prayers in a hall, owned by Ahmed Ali. This hall was once a school for religious studies, that was not recognised as a mosque.

A further probe into the matter by the district administration and police found no mention of a mosque in the village in its revenue records. Thereafter, Ali, was told to not allow anyone other than his family to offer namaz there.

“Despite the dispute being resolved, these five accused were found giving false statements of harassment at the hands of Hindus, which could have led to communal tension in the village,” said Avinash Kumar Gautam, Circle Officer, Hasanpur.  Superintendent of Police (Amroha) Santosh Kumar Mishra said said the police and the administration only asked Ali to not allow people from other areas to offer namaz there. A few village residents have been been “bound down” against creating trouble, he added.

Such occurrences are on a surge in recent times, especially in Western UP. Even in neighboring Haryana, we have seen a heinous burglary and gang-rape case in Mewat most likely carried out by the dreaded Kaccha-Baniyan gang, twisted into an attack by gau-rakshaks at the prodding of ‘social activists’ like Shabnam Hashmi.

Conclusion

There are various vested interests in the country who would love to pull down the newly elected BJP Government led by Yogi Adityanath in UP. The sections of society who had a field day and ran amok under the previous ‘secular’ Samajwadi regime, are not happy seeing their privileged status being taken away. These elements are being encouraged by a left-liberal intelligentsia sitting in Delhi, who want to discredit Hindutva by hook or crook.

Sample this misleading tweet by one of the leading lights of this left-liberal brigade.

Despite the fact that the 14 ‘lumpens’ were Muslim men and the 2 molested girls are Hindu Dalits, Bhushan has neither corrected the tweet nor apologized for slandering Hindutva. The same Bhushan had earlier dismissed the Yogi Government’s intent in creating ‘anti-romeo’ police squads for protection of women, and had abused Hindu sensitivities while doing so by labeling Sri Krishna as a ‘legendary eve-teaser.’

Everyone knows that law & order is a huge challenge in UP, given the enfeeblement & politicization of UP police over the last decade. Rather than support a young Government which is trying to restore order, and offer constructive criticism like calling for national police reforms, attempts are being made to further destabilize the situation.
