In a shocking incident dead body of a 6 years old was found near a dumping ground in Silchar, Assam on Monday, news outlet Time8.in has reported.
“What came as a shocker was the minor died while an attempted rape.
The minor is a resident of Silchar Sildubi. Following the incident the police had started an investigation and took into custody one accused, identified as Toufik Ahmed(18).

Meanwhile the deceased’s family has alleged that the accused tried such attempts twice earlier. The police suspects Toufik to have murdered the victim by strangling her to death; following the interrogation, the accused has reportedly confessed the brutal crime.”
