Muslim Mob Brutally Thrashes 3 Hindu Youth for Protesting Molestation of Woman – Rajasthan

3 Hindu youth were thrashed by a 40-50 strong Muslim mob for protesting the molestation and harassment of a Hindu woman from their locality. The incident occurred on Sunday in Chomu, district Jaipur, Rajasthan. The 3 youth, Mukesh, Kailash & Rahul have been critically injured in the attack. People protested in large numbers on Monday demanding arrest of the accused, and police has imposed Section 144 in the town due to the prevailing tension.

According to police, a woman resident of Jat Mohalla colony located in Ward 30 of Chomu town was being harassed by some Muslim youth of Pathan mohalla colony. Three Hindu youth from Jat Mohalla – Mukesh, Kailash, Rahul – came forward to help the woman, and this resulted in an argument between both groups. Shortly afterwards, everyone dispersed.

As soon as the Hindu youth reached home, a large mob of 40-50 Muslims from Pathan Mohalla barged inside and brutally thrashed the 3. As the news spread, Hindus of the area too got agitated and soon a riot broke out between both communities.

Police rushed to the spot to defuse the situation. Hindus from Jat Mohalla have lodged a complaint against the attackers, and police is verifying the CCTV footage in the area.

On Monday, people gathered in large numbers demanding arrest of the accused, and market too was shut down. They also raised slogans against the local MLA, Ram Lal Sharma of BJP.
