Injured by the stabbing, the perpetrator collapsed there itself. People present in the panchayat got jittered after the incident. Getting the information, the police arrived at the scene and took the victim’s brother into custody. The injured man is being treated in a Bareilly hospital. His condition is said to be critical at the moment.

The incident is of a village of Kelakheda area (Uttarakhand). The incident took place on 17th June when two men of ‘particular community’ started harassing a girl who was out to collect fodder and then recorded the whole episode. The SO told that the incident of video recording being 3 days old is coming into light. The police is investigating the matter at it’s level. The situation is the village is currently normal. A named complaint against the two harassers was to the police by the victim girl.
