Muslim jailbird stalker stabs aspiring air-hostess to death in Delhi

In a shocking incident, 21-year-old aspiring air hostess Riya Gautam was mercilessly stabbed to death by Mohammed Adil (22), a local criminal who had been stalking her for 6 months, near her home in East Delhi’s Mansarovar Park, Shahadra on Wednesday evening. In a damning indictment of Delhi police and our criminal justice system, it turned out that the girl’s family had complained to police three months back about Adil, but no action was taken.

CCTV footage from a camera installed outside a shop in Ram Nagar Colony, shows Adil attacking Riya and then chasing her as she runs for cover into the shop. He can later be seen shoving aside people who had gathered and running away with knife in hand –

The bleeding girl was rushed to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital, and underwent surgery late on Wednesday night, but a deep wound on her upper abdomen and heavy bleeding due to a slit wrist proved fatal, reports the Times of India.

Mohammed Adil had four cases of vehicle theft registered against him and has been to jail multiple times. He is currently on the run and police are in his pursuit.

Many media reports have hinted at some sort of ‘relationship’ between the girl and her attacker-

  • ABP news said they knew each other very well and lived in the same area.
  • Times of India says Mohammed Adil was known to Riya.
  • Punjab Kesari has sunk to new depths by putting a sensationalist, entirely misleading headline ‘Lover kills his own love’

But The Pioneer reveals the painful story of how the girl was being stalked by a notorious local hoodlum, and how police did nothing to prevent the crime despite receiving early warning signs –

“Harassing her for the last six months, a 22-year-old stalker stabbed a 21-year-old aspiring air hostess ten times near her house in full public view in East Delhi’s Mansarovar Park area outside the Peer Wali Gali of Ram Nagar on Wednesday at 5.10 pm.

The victim, Riya Gautam, was rushed to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital where she was operated upon. However, around 2 am on Thursday she succumbed to her injuries, police said.

The gory incident was captured on CCTV cameras of a nearby Anil Photo Studio. “In one of the CCTV footages, it is seen that the attacker, Nanhe Khan, alias Adil, and Riya were walking close to the lane outside the girl’s house. An altercation took place between the two and it escalated. Adil took a knife and started stabbing Riya repeatedly. To save her, she went inside the photo studio but he followed her and kept stabbing her until she fell unconscious. Riya suffered around ten stab wounds on her chest and abdomen,” said a senior police officer privy to the probe.

Now, hunt is on to nab Adil, a notorious auto lifter in the area, who has been to jail four times. Police said they have formed several teams and have deployed them across bus stops, railway stations to arrest the accused. Anil, owner of the Photo Studio and a key eyewitness to the murder, told The Pioneer, “I was sitting at my house, located above my studio.

After seeing the attack on the CCTV footage I rushed to help the girl. Along with two three other locals, I tried to get hold of the boy but he pushed me away and fled.”

Shocked Riya’s father Girwar Singh Gautam lamented that had police acted on their earlier complaints against Adil, the incident could have been avoided.

“Three months ago, we had submitted a written complaint at the MS Park Police station against Adil but the local police did nothing. Rather they told us that he is in Gujarat,” said the grieving father, who works as a laboratory assistant in the Maulana Azad Medical College.

“On that day Riya told us that she was going out to buy Maggie. However, a few minutes after she left, neighbours informed us she was attacked,” said Girwar, fighting back his tears.

Riya was the youngest child in the family. She was very hard working, said the father sitting among the mourning relatives. The girl is survived by her parents and two elder brothers and an elder sister.

In the course of the investigation, investigators found that Riya was in touch with Adil for the past six months. During preliminary investigation, it has emerged that Riya wanted to shut all communication with Adil but he kept on pestering her.”

Such crimes are not new, and this incident too will soon be forgotten by our media. It will not attract attention of the #NotInMyName campaigners or their elite media & intelligentsia backers. Now, if Mohammed Adil had been caught by people and lynched to death, that would have been a different matter altogether.

Such crimes are severe indictment of our media, police, judiciary, politicians, education system, religious fundamentalists who demean women of other faith and Bollywood. Even when a Government like UP takes some steps to control this menace of stalking and harassment of women, the same left-liberal ecosystem heaps scorn on such moves.

Our Home Minister and Minister of Women and Child Development are silent on these crimes – where are the much-needed police reforms and stringent laws to deter such criminals before the crime is committed?

Bollywood talking heads will criticize society for oppressing women, but take no ownership for their role in sexual objectification of women through item songs, lyrics like ‘Main to tandoori murgi hoon yaar, Gatkaale saiyan alcohol se.” (“I am tandoori chicken. Ravish me with some alcohol.” ), “Acchi baatein kar li bohot, Ab karunga tere saath Gandi baat…” “I have talked nicely for long, now (since you are not accepting my proposal), I will resort to wrong ways”, double-meaning entendre which has become a staple even in family films, and for films like Tere Naam which glorify stalkers.

  1. Living in #Denial of #LoveJihad will be very costly. We need to make our daughters & sisters aware of this menace. Mothers have a big responsibility as they alone can prevent daughters from falling in these traps.

  2. Very sad to hear this story. Why are such victims always Hindu girls and perpetrators always Muslim men? Where are the Nidhi Razdans and Burkha Dutts of the world now?

    • Muslim women are UNATTRACTIVE.
This young lady is pretty and friendly.

When it the last time you saw a female Muslim happy or friendly?
