Miffed over being turned away from Iftar Party, they shot dead 3 children: UP

In a shocking incident from Bulandshahr, UP, three children from one family were abducted & murdered by a group of men who were angry at being turned away from an Iftar party.

As per a report in Amar Ujala, Faislabad resident Moh Alam told police that his brother Jamshed had organized an Iftar Party (celebratory breaking of fast during Muslim festival of Ramzan) on Friday. Only relatives and acquaintances were invited.

The three accused – Bilal, Salman and Imran – apparently turned up uninvited and were shooed away. To take revenge, they abducted the three children, all cousins – Aliba (7), Aasma (7), Abdul Rehman (8) – at around 9.30 PM.

The children were shot dead and their bodies were found the next day near a tubewell in village Dhaturi, Salempur police station area. It is alleged that police was lax in taking action after initial complaint. One accused, Bilal has been arrested.
