Meerut is gaining notoriety as cases of Love Jihad and crimes against vulnerable Hindu girls are coming out one after another from there. In a recent incident, a Lisadi gate resident Faisal has been nabbed by police for trapping an orphan Hindu girl, sexually exploiting her and abandoning her in pregnant condition when his true identity was revealed.

According to available news, the victim girl’s parents had died earlier and to make ends meet, the orphan Bulandshahar-native girl took up a job in factory in Delhi. This is where she met Faisal who introduced himself as Sonu and used to wear Hindu Kaleva and Teeka. Thus pretending to be Hindu, he started a relationship with the girl and got married to her.

Due to Covid-19 lockdown, the factory had to be closed and both of them came to Meerut where they rented a house. Since coming to Meerut’s Prahlad Nagar area, Faisal started avoiding sporting tilak & kaleva and this raised suspicion in mind of the girl. So Faisal changed locality and rented another place in Moripara to avoid detection.

His secret was revealed when his relatives visited the couple on occasion of Eid festival unannounced. Faisal was not home at the time and from these relatives, the girl found the true identity of Faisal and that he is a Muslim, not Hindu. When she confronted him after his coming home, Faisal got angry and threatened to kill her if she raises the issue. He went missing after the incident.

Later, the girl met his family to find out complete details about him but his parents did not cooperate with her and refused to divulge any details. The girl who is 3 months pregnant now had to undergo 2 abortions earlier at insistence of Faisal.

Now, she is completely shattered and with help of local Hindu leaders, filed a police complaint against the accused who had remained untraceable initially. On Wednesday, police arrested him from Jama Masjid area.

This is third case in less than 10 days of a Hindu girl being targeted by a Muslim youth from Meerut. First, there was the sensational disclosure in a year-old blind murder case where Ludhiana girl Ekta Deswal’s headless body was found. After one year of investigation, it was revealed that she was murdered by Saqib who introduced himself as Aman to her. After he got Rs. 25 lakh worth of cash and jewelry from her, he murdered her.

In the second incident, Meerut Police have reportedly apprehended a man named Wasim Ahmed who lured a Hindu woman from Hapur in his love trap by concealing his identity and then raping her for 2 years. The accused was operating a Facebook account under name of ‘Dinesh Rawat’ and had even obtained an Aadhar card in the same name.
