In October 2023, Nazir Kumbar kidnapped a Hindu girl Shanti Meghwar from villige of Khipro district sanghar, Sindh Pakistan, In a recent painful video, Shanti revealed that her abductor threatened her to convert to Islam and raped her when she refused.
She somehow escaped from the house of the abductor and reached her home, Then she, along with her parents, reached the Hindu activist office and spoke openly about what happened to her. They filed an application in local court against her forcibly abduction and conversion to Islam. Nazir Khumbar, the accused of kidnapping and raping Shanti, is currently in jail.

In addition to being blackmailed and intimidated, Hindu girls are also having their naked videos recorded. They have come to a compromise with the kidnappers to save their families because they have threatened to kill their families if she does not consent to covert and marry.
The kidnapping and forced conversion of Hindu women in Sindh have been reviewed several times.
There has been a rapid increase in such cases in the region, with many cases still not registered or unresolved. Hindus in Sindh do not get justice for their grievances and do not get much protection and guidance from the authorities.
Sindh has made efforts to reduce forced conversions over the years. In 2020, the Sindh Assembly passed a resolution condemning the practice of forced conversions and affirming that it should be banned. However, despite these efforts, the problem persists, and many cases remain unreported or unresolved.
Majority should safeguard & protect the minorities. That’s a basic rule for a sustainable society. But instead, minorities are exploited, kidnapped, raped (in the case of women victims), converted and frequently lynched by Islamic majority. That’s a big tragedy that holds sway in Pakistan most of which is controlled by the outlaws on the basis of superstitious religious beliefs and dogmas. Minorities are no longer safe in Pakistan, declared himself by Pak Defence Minister.
