All five accused in the brutal murder of a Hindu woman, Neha (30), have been arrested by UP police, reports Amar Ujala.
Neha was murdered on the night of 26 December in Nawabganj, Kanpur by her lover Shahnawaz and his four accomplices. Her body was thrown on the Nawabganj-Mainawati road. Investigators found that Shahnawaz was already married to another woman, and he had plotted Neha’s murder to end the relationship.
On 2 Jan, Shahnawaz and his friend Mohammed Aamir were arrested after an encounter with police. Then two weeks back, Shariq and Hasib surrendered in court and were sent to jail. The remaining accused, Alishan was arrested last Saturday.
