A Hindu SC man has been brutally attacked for marrying a Christian woman in Kerala. The man has allegedly sustained brain injuries and is undergoing treatment. The man was reportedly asked to convert to Christianity and was attacked by the bride’s brother for refusing the same.

Mithun Krishna and Deepthi, Kerala natives, were supposedly in love for a longtime but both their families didn’t agree with their relationship. Deepthi is a Latin Christian while Mithun reportedly belongs to Thandan, an SC caste, and a Hindu. Disregarding their families’ opposition they went to a temple and got married on October 29. On the same day Deepthi’s father is said to have filed a police complaint to find his missing daughter.

When she returned as a married woman he is said to have convinced her to come with him so that he can conduct a “proper marriage”. However Deepthi decided to go with her husband. The News Minute reported that the bride’s father and brother went to Mithun’s house the next day and took them to a church to discuss wedding plans. Later when they went to visit her mother Mithun was attacked by her brother. 

Deepthi’s brother Danish, a doctor, along with his friends mercilessly beat Mithun with wooden logs. The video of the act went viral in social media. Mithun suffered injuries in his brain and is currently undergoing treatment at the State Government Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Deepthi also sustained injuries while trying to save her husband. She has lodged a complaint with the local police in which she has accused her brother of attacking her husband for not converting to Christianity. Her brother asked Mithun to either convert or back away from the marriage, Asianet reported.

In June, a 19 year old young Christian woman was murdered by her father for daring to marry a Hindu man in Tamil Nadu. While inter-caste marriages that result in honor killings are widely reported and hyped up by media to deliberately defame Hindu Dharma, similar acts of abrahamics go unnoticed. Even though leftists and other assorted anti-Hindus encourage inter-caste and inter-religious marriages, they don’t even make a peep about the intolerant behaviour of abrahamics towards Hindus.
