Hindu girl kidnapped by 4 Muslim youth in Meerut, UP

After searching frantically for 3 days, the hapless father of a minor Hindu girl on Friday lodged a complaint against 4 Muslim youth for abducting his daughter, reports Amar Ujala.

The girl, who belongs to the Scheduled Caste community, had stepped out of her home in Parikshitgarh, Meerut to buy household items from a local grocery shop, but did not return. After asking around for 3 days her family discovered that two Muslim youth living in a rented house in the neighbourhood had abducted the girl on a scooty. They were assisted by 2 accomplices who followed on a bike.

When the father of the girl approached one of the accused Muslim youth, he was abused with derogatory casteist remarks and threatened against trying to recover his daughter. After this, the father lodged a police complaint against the 4 accused for abducting his daughter.

BJP workers are agitated after learning about this abduction. They rushed to the police station and demanded that the girl be recovered within 12 hours, else a Mahapanchayat will be held to decide further course of action.
