Grooming Jihad: Bihar youth rapes and abducts MP girl, arrested in Delhi

In yet another grooming jihad case, a young Hindu girl alighted a train in New Delhi and ran to the Government Railway Police (GRP) station and informed the officials that she was kidnapped by a Muslim youth named Kabir.

New Delhi railway police contacted Dhuma Police Station in Seoni district, MP and confirmed that a missing person complaint was lodged for the girl. Railway police later detained Kabir and handed him over to Dhuma police who arrived in Delhi and took the girl and the youth into their custody.

It all began when the girl from Seoni in MP was groomed by Kabir, a resident of Patna, Bihar, who introduced himself as a Hindu via Facebook. After some time, Kabir visited Seoni and met the girl near Sanaidongri village where he forced himself on her.

On August 25, Kabir reached Seoni again, and raped her after threatening to kill her if she did not submit. He then kidnapped her at knifepoint and took her to Jabalpur, saying he would marry her. He threatened the girl and forced her onto a train headed for New Delhi. En-route Kabir told her that she would have to change her religion, convert to Islam and get married to him.

The scared girl rushed to lodge a complaint with GRP at the first available opportunity after reaching New Delhi station.

Dhuma Police station chief, Rahul Baghel confirmed that the accused had been arrested and further investigation into the matter was on. A case of rape and forced religious conversion for marriage has been registered against Kabir.
