An actress homemaker has put forward love grooming allegations against her husband and has pointed out how she was subject to physical and mental abuse by her husband who even faked their nikah (Islamic marriage).
I have submitted a complaint of fraud and forceful conversion assault and even mental and physical torture at khadakpada police station and even at ACP/DCP office but no reply from your end @MumbaiPolice @CMOMaharashtra @CPMumbaiPolice

Tweeting about the inaction on the part of the Khadakpada Police Station and higher police authorities, the woman has made a plea to the state government seeking justice. She has highlighted her plight showing how she had been cheated by her Muslim husband.
She has explained in detail how she became a victim of love grooming. She has alleged that the Muslim man took advantage of her vulnerability as she was going through a rough marriage. He too presented himself as an orphan who is being tortured by his wife.
He not only encouraged her to divorce her husband but also promised to take care of her daughter. She has further stated that they married under Islamic law in a masjid but the masjid authorities are denying to give her the marriage certificate.
Her ordeal, however, did not end with this and she was then subject to physical torture besides a fake marriage. Furthermore, she has put forward allegations of physical violence as her Muslim husband did not want her to meet her daughter. She has alleged that when she caught him red-handed having multiple affairs with many females, he supposedly retorted that Islam permitted him to keep more than four wives.
She has even stated that the man even beat up her daughter and mother. The woman has alleged inaction by police as the man is influential and supposedly well-connected with the police department.
Because of some influence he has in department my complaint is being delayed day by day where shall we reach for help as a citizen he married me under muslim law in a maszid but now that people are denying to give me marriage certificate @CMOMaharashtra @PMOIndia @OfficeofUT
