Fateh Khan becomes Aryan Malhotra to groom minor Hindu girl

Another case of grooming for sex and religion in the name of love and marriage of a minor Hindu girl has come to light from Uttar Pradesh. The case pertains to Kanpur which is emerging as the center for such crimes.

As per reports, in what happens to be the 12th case from the district this year, a Muslim youth identified himself as a Hindu to befriend a 15-year-old Hindu girl studying in class eight and earned her family’s trust by calling her ‘sister’. However, he had been sexually exploiting the girl for two years and pressurising her to marry him and convert to Islam. He even had a fake AADHAR card using his Hindu name. He has been arrested and sent to jail based on the complaint registered by the girl’s family.

The case pertains to Gopalnagar in Kanpur’s Naubasta where the girl’s family resided in a rented house. The girl’s father is a laborer and her mother also works as a house-hold help to support the family income. Three years ago, the youth who called himself Aryan Malhotra came to reside in the ground floor apartment of their house.

He gained the mother’s sympathy and affection by stating that his parents were dead. He befriended the family through his mannerisms and since he called the girl his younger sister, the family never suspected his intentions.

Having gained the family’s trust he began frequenting their home and entrapped the girl in the name of love. As the girl’s parents were out to work the whole day, he would visit their house and sexually exploit the girl. He had brainwashed the girl to such an extent that the exploitation continued for around two years.

However, the family’s suspicions were aroused when they caught their daughter talking to Aryan late one night. They then changed their residence but the accused followed them to their new home as well. He maintained that he considered the girl as his sister and her parents need not worry. He took up residence there.

Since the parents continued to suspect his intentions, they sent away their daughter to her grandparents’ home. When the accused reached their home the next day, he was angered at not finding the girl home and pressurized the family to bring her back.

The behavior of the accused made the girl’s father suspect that something was amiss and he began making his own inquiries regarding Aryan Malhotra. It was in the process his inquiries that he shocking learned the youth with whom they had been rubbing shoulders with since the last three years was not a Hindu but Muslim by the name of Fateh Khan.

When his real identity stood exposed, Fateh Khan threatened the family and told them that their daughter would have to convert to Islam and marry him in a nikah ceremony. The terrorized economically backward family approached the State General Secretary of the International Hindu Council Rashtriya Bajrang Dal and Ramji Tripathi and other workers for help.

According to the information, the activists of Hindu organizations caught the accused Fateh Khan and handed him over to the police late at night. On searching the accused the police were shocked to find that he carried two ID cards. One card was made in the name of Fateh Khan son of Mushtaq Khan while the other identified him as Aryan Malhotra son of Rahul Malhotra. During interrogation, it was found that the accused is a resident of Bijnor.

At the same time, SP South Deepak Bhukar told the media that they have registered a case on the basis of the complaint given by the family. The accused has been arrested and sent to jail. Also, the case has been handed over to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to conduct investigations of such (love entrapment) cases.
