A Dalit girl was raped by a work colleague Mohammed Saifi after being drugged. The accused then shot an obscene video of the girl and continued to rape her by threatening to upload the video on social media.
The incident occurred in Mandawar police station area of Bijnore district, UP, as per a report in Hindi daily Amar Ujala.
Finally, the girl worked up the courage to tell her family about the whole matter and they lodged a complaint with police. Station-in-charge Anshumali Bharti said that a case has been lodged and police is conducting raids to arrest the accused.
